About the event
Green Okanagan is proud to be hosting a forum for "100 Debates on the Environment" in partnership with GreenPac. This event has a simple mission: to make the environment an issue that no party and no candidate can ignore by having politically neutral, and environment-focused all-candidates debates in communities across Canada.
The intent is to create a space where voters can hear directly from candidates about their visions for the environment, as well as open honest and green-focused conversation within the community. The forum will consist of pre-determined questions in relation to 1) climate change, 2) wilderness conservation, 3) water, and 4) pollution.
On October 3rd, we invite constituents of the Central Okanagan-Similkameen-Nicola riding or others to attend, participate, and connect with like-minded community members. Join the Meetup or visit our Facebook page to spread the word!
