About the event
On Tuesday, April 23 the Kelowna Climate Coalition is hosting its second town hall meeting. Join us at the Okanagan College KLO Campus – 1000 KLO Road, Kelowna, Room HS101. At this meeting we will provide a general overview of the draft ‘Climate Resilient Kelowna Strategy’ with the goal being to develop specific lobbying actions that will help in driving down our community’s GHG emissions. We will break out into smaller groups and focus on four areas of the strategy: Buildings, Transportation, Land Use, and Nature Based Solutions. We already have some ideas, but further input and discussion will only make our efforts more effective. Please join us.
